Service Description

Whether you're away for the day or off on holiday, I’ll make sure your small pets are safe, fed, and comfortable. From bouncy bunnies to curious hamsters, I take time to care for each one with kindness and attention. 🐭 Each visit includes: Fresh food, hay, and water Cleaning of litter trays or spot-cleaning bedding Playtime or supervised free roam (if requested) Health and wellbeing check Optional photo update 🐹 I care for: Rabbits Guinea pigs Hamsters Gerbils Rats Mice Degus and similar pets


Cancellation Policy

Bookings All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability. I offer services within Melrose and up to 5 miles. If you're unsure whether you're within my service area, feel free to message me before booking. To help me care properly for your pets, please complete all questions on the booking form accurately. Cancellations & Changes Cancellations are free up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the service fee. You can request to reschedule a visit up to 12 hours in advance, depending on availability. 🐰 What’s Included Each visit typically lasts 20–30 minutes and includes: Feeding and fresh water Spot cleaning (litter trays, bedding, etc.) A quick health check Play or cuddle time (if requested and appropriate) Updates by message or photo (on request) 🚗 Travel Charge Travel is included for bookings within a 3-mile radius of TD7 4QB. For locations beyond this, an additional mileage fee of £0.45 per mile (each way) will apply. Mileage is calculated based on the shortest reasonable route from TD7 4QB to the booking address. ⚠️ Health & Safety Disclaimer I am not a vet and cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions. If I notice signs of illness or distress during a visit, I will contact you (or your emergency contact) immediately and follow your instructions. In serious situations where I cannot reach you, I may seek veterinary care at your expense if I believe it’s in the pet’s best interest. I cannot be held responsible for: Issues related to pre-existing health conditions Natural causes due to age or illness Accidents due to unsafe enclosures or housing 🔐 Access Please ensure I have clear and safe access to your home or your pet’s housing. If I am unable to access your pets on arrival due to a locked door, unsafe conditions, or no clear instructions, the visit may be cancelled but still charged. 💬 Communication If you’d like an update during your booking (e.g., a message or photo), just let me know — I’m happy to provide it!
