Hi, I’m Gabriel, and thank you for visiting Paws and Claws Pet Solutions.
I provide friendly, reliable, and thoughtful pet care services in the Scottish Borders, helping animals (and their humans) feel safe and supported whether it’s for a day, a week, or longer.
From dog walking and cat sitting to caring for chickens, small furries, or garden animals — I’m here to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own.

My Story
Animals and the countryside have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, guinea pigs, ponies, gerbils — and I even bred my own flock of rare breed chickens. Caring for animals comes naturally to me, and over the last few years I’ve loved turning that into something I can share with others.

Alongside looking after people’s pets locally, I’ve gained experience working on a sheep farm and volunteering with the Bird Garden CIC, helping care for rare breeds and other animals. I also hold a SCQF Level 4 in Animal Care, a Pet First Aid certification, and I’m fully insured — so you can trust your pets are in safe, capable hands.

I’m excited to be starting a degree in Rural Business Management and Agriculture at the Scottish Rural Agricultural College next year, where I’ll be building on everything I’ve learned through hands-on experience.
As someone who also enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and working hard, this business means a lot to me — and I’m proud to offer a service that’s personal, kind, and always focused on the wellbeing of your animals.
